Site
Brief description of site: The site is on a small boulder, of which one side is protected by a bulging lip at its top.The boulder is at the edge of the hill looking north over flat area of Nyika hill and over treetops beyond. There is no shade nor shelter it is merely suitable surface. The site is widely visible.
Brief description of art: The art consists of various rows of short vertical strokes and areas of smudged pigment. All the images are rather smudged.

Brief description of site: The site is on a 50cm2 surface on a narrow boulder that is protected by a wider upper lip. The boulder sits in a passage among many other boulders. The site is hard to find and has no view. There is a rock in front of images that provides a pleasant shaded seat for one person. The images were made from this seat. There is no shelter and it is only visible to those walking down this passage.
Brief description of art: The art comprises of two complex designs that are hard to describe. The one is similar to bat-like motifs except only partly filled. And the other is essentially rectangular with a filled triangular base and a few internal lines.

Brief description of site: The shelter is in a small recessed shelter that provides pleasant shaded seating but too small for habitation. The images are hidden by a rock immediately in front. The site otherwise looks out into boulders and the flat section of Nyika hilltop. The site is easy to miss but readily accessible. The images are only visible within shelter.
Brief description of art: The rock is very rough and the images have not adhered well. What remains are a mixture of massed dots applied by the finger and massed small dots applied by using a brush.

Brief description of site: The site is on a clean surface on a long zigzagging rock-face. The site is moderately protected by an overhanging lip. The site looks into trees and other rocks. There is no shade or shelter. The site is easily accessible.
Brief description of art: The art consists of a vertical line with two crossing horizontal lines as well as various rows of dots mostly horizontal.

Brief description of site: The site is on a narrow surface protected by a small rock lip in the same zigzagging rock-face as ZAM-MWE82. Furthermore the nature of the site is the same as ZAM-MWE82.
Brief description of art: The art comprises of images that are all faded due to the lack of protection. There are a few horizontal rows of dots together with a few vertical rows of dots.

Brief description of site: The site is on a large clean surface poorly that is protected by high bulge in the same zigzagging rock-face as ZAM-MWE82. The nature of site is the same as ZAM-MWE82.

Brief description of site: The site is a large thin boulder within an impressive overhang on one side creating a 6m2 protected surface. A 2m high rock platform sits under overhang and the images were executed from this platform. The site sits amongst other boulders. The site has no view, pleasant shaded seating but no shelter.
Brief description of art: The images are all very faint despite the good protection. There are also various sets of three parallel vertical lines. There is an area of parallel vertical lines separated by vertical rows of dots. There are also many other rows of dots.

Brief description of site: The site is another clean but poorly protected surface 8m east of ZAM-MWE84 in same zigzagging rock-face as ZAM-MWE82. The nature of the site is the same as ZAM-MWE82.
Brief description of art: The art consists of 3 horizontal rows of dots above a set of long parallel lines. There is also a filled arrow-like motif.

Brief description of site: The site is on a small slanting area of rock protected by a small overhang in same zigzagging rockface as ZAM-MWE82. The nature of the site is the same as ZAM-MWE82.
Brief description of art: The art consists of a vertical sausage shape in an outline that is internally crossed with many parallel horizontal lines, the bottom section has been washed off. There is also three parallel vertical lines.

Brief description of site: The site is on a narrow passage between two boulders that is partly covered by an overhanging rock. The site is about 20m north of ZAM-MWE89 among other boulders. There is no view, little shade as well as no shelter. The images are only visible from within the passage.
Brief description of art: The art consists of a set of concentric circles (5 circles), as well as two sets of four parallel vertical lines and a few dots and curving lines.

Brief description of site: Small area of rock-face protected by small lip in same passage way running through centre of Akanshila rock area as ZAM-MWE1. Can only be seen from passage. No view, no shade, no shelter, easily accessible but hard to find.
Brief description of art: 2 faint horizontal rows of dots applied by finger in red.
