Brief description of site: The site is on a large shelter half way up western side of Mtusi Hill. Under a large boulder and not obvious until very close. Excellently protected, could have been used as habitation or hiding place. A kasiyamaliro was being stored at the site when we visited. View into rocks and trees. Arduous but simple access. Brief description of art: The whole shelter quite blackened by soot. The images are on the back wall and on the ceiling, many are rather unclear and blackened. The images include: many spread-eagled designs, one remarkably large and fat, a snake-like meander all daubed in white. Also a set of concentric half-circles open at base applied by finger in white.

Brief description of site: The site is on a very large and impressive rock shelter (90m2) half way up western side of Mtusi hill. Would have made an ideal habitation site. Partially excavated by Mgomezulu in 1976. He found extensive evidence of usage including 4 short statured skeletons. The site is said to be still used for female initiation. Arduous but simple access with fine views to west. Brief description of art: The art consists of many varied spread-eagled designs all daubed in white, the one on the ceiling is remarkable in size and has been repainted at least twice. Some of the images are heavily blackened by soot. At the left end of the shelter and there are a few red designs applied by finger including dots, short vertical lines, a concentric circle and a half circle open at top with single internal vertical division.

Brief description of site: The site is on a small boulder with a low recess at the base and is halfway up the western side of Mtusi hill. Below MAL-MTU2. There is shaded seating for 2 people with a limited view and arduous but simple access. Brief description of art: The art consists of 3 sets of parallel vertical lines applied by finger in red.

Brief description of site: The site is on a boulder on a flat area below the rocky upper section of Mtusi hill on the western side. The boulder leaning providing protection to surface on one side but no shade or shelter. Arduous access with a view limited by trees. Brief description of art: The art consists of 2 circles with externally radiating lines joined by a horizontal bar. There are also 2 half circles with multiple internal divisions. All the images are applied by finger in red. The surface is poorly protected from washing by rain and there may have been more motifs now destroyed.

Brief description of art: The images are on a rock face and include what looks like a milking scene and some other human figures. The panel is badly exfoliated in parts.

Brief description of art: The painting's aspect is north east and the size is 1.20 x 1.50. The painting includes:1 pig, 1 undetermined antelope, the outline of some hind legs, 23 human figures; some are therianthropes, 1 female, 1 squatting and 1 kneeling.

Brief description of art: The painting is on an isolated kopje, has an eastern aspect and it is of 2 kudu cows, 1 zebra, 1 warthog and 10 human figures.
