Brief description of site: A small low recess on the eastern side of a very large and prominent boulder on the eastern side of Chigwenembe hill. Recess too small to provide shade or shelter, merely a protected surface. Brief description of art: A large concentric circle with central horizontal bar, overlain by a few sets of parallel lines. To the right is a small grid. All are applied by finger in red.
Brief description of site: A large shelter facing north under a high overhanging face of same boulder as DE29. Nicely shaded but open to wind. Could have been used as a habitation if screened. Views into river valley below. Brief description of art: Extensive collection of white daubed pictographs. Around 20 spread-eagled designs, 3 circles with internal grids, 3 grids, and an area of multiple arrow shaped designs. Spread-eagled designs vary in detail but are similar in basic form, one is unusual in having dots falling from its arms. There is a single red half circle open at top with internal vertical division. Variations in state of preservation suggestive that pictographs executed over a considerable period of time by many different artists.
Brief description of site: A recessed shelter a few metres above ground level within a rock-face. Positioned immediately west of DE30. Can only be entered by climbing onto the shoulders of another person. Locally known as the 'Adam and Eve Cave'. It is large enough for 4-5 people to sit in, is excellently sheltered and shaded. Looking into rock. Brief description of art: Within shelter: a few spread-eagled designs, a star shape, 2 arrows, a vertical line and a snake-like meander, all applied by daubing in white. At entrance to shelter is a set of parallel lines in red.

Looking into rocks and trees. Brief description of art: A circle with externally radiating lines, an arrow shape and a circle. Daubed in white, now faint.
