Kakoro III
Site
Brief description of site: The site is a relatively small low shelter that goes deep into the rock with a very small aperture. Access to the shelter is by crawling. It is a conspicuous rock at the south west end of the saddle-shaped hill.
Brief description of art: The images are in white and are on the ceiling of the shelter. It is difficult to see all of the images clearly since they are covered in graffiti. Those that can be seen include, a V shaped motif with a central line that ends at a point where it meets a rayed outline white circle. This motif is approximately 45cm long and 30cm wide. There is another rayed circle with a long line on one end next to another geometric motif. These images are not familiar motifs in the rock art of this region, but probably formed part of the regular repertoire that has been lost due to flaking and graffiti.
