Solonje II
Site
Brief description of site: The site is on the South West corner of Solonje Hill, on a large isolated boulder extending out from the hill. The boulder is clearly visible from a small track running up to the hill. Remains of antiquities is clearly visible. The site is well protected from rain and sun, it is just a boulder bulging at the top. Most of the rock has lichen cover.
Solonje IV
Site
Brief description of site: The site is on the top edge of the Northern side of the second to last peak on the Mamwa Hill (?) from the lakeshore end. Access is difficult up a tunnel going up a hill. The shelter faces sideways into the hill and can't really be seen from below. The site has very fine views of Cape Maclear, it is nicely shaded until the late afternoon.
Brief description of art: There are very poor remains of the art and the rock is very rough and the paint has not adhered well. There is a lot of washing and merely a crude set of parallel lines still exist.
