      Brief description of site: A large overhanging boulder at edge of same group as DE48. On lower slopes of Chongoni mountain west side. Site well shaded and protected, providing a possible habitation site. Excavated by Mgomezulu in 1976 who found evidence of long period of human activity at the site. Site has to be passed to get to main passageway leading to DE48.
      Brief description of art: The art consists of a large horizontal sausage shape with multiple vertical internal divisions, a vertical sausage shape with single internal vertical division, 8 concentric circles 5 of which have externally radiating lines, 1 circle with externally radiating lines, 2 large parallel horizontal but downward curving lines, a few sets of parallel lines. All the images are applied by finger in red. There are also many faint red traces. The red motifs give the impression of having been executed over a long period of time by differing artists. Over the red motifs there are 3 zoomorphic designs and 3 masked human dancers executed in outline charcoal (nyau - chimkoko & kapoli)
