            Vogel Valey I
            Site

Brief description of art: Site is 100m up slope from the boundary fence that skirts the Northern edge of the Voelvlei dam. The rubbing of cows has damaged paintings. The site consists of 4 panels. The first panel consists of seven springbok, 4 of which are in running postures. One is in a 'pronking' position. Three of these springbok are grouped closely together, and are underneath 2 eland with heads raised. To the right of the 'pronking' springbok is a very faded figure bending forward with hands near knees. To the right of this figure is a white stick figure associated with a bichrome eland. On a facet below these figures are faded and unclear depictions of an eland and antelope.

Panel 2 is around the corner from panel 1. It consists of a large polychrome, male eland, which is 350mm from nose to rump. The back is outlined in black and black dots occur along the nape of the neck. The folds of the dewlap are outlined in brown. Two faded eland, one of which is male, occur below the large eland slightly to the left. Some very faded remains of humans are also present.

Panel 3 contains a single yellow bovid.

Panel 4 consists of 2 faded bichrome eland and approximately 5 black humans.

            Tyger Klip I
            Site

Brief description of art: Two sites SW facing in a ravine, which is upstream from the deserted buildings, marked as RSA TYG1. The upper site is sparsely painted containing only a few figures. It was neither photographed nor sketched.

RSA TYG1 has 7 panels. Panel 1 contains a depiction of a large, clear person, outlined in white, bending forward. There is also a depiction of a woman holding a digging stick.

Panel 2 contains 4 ostrich, a quagga, and 2 eland. Large bellies are noticeable on the 2 eland and quagga.

Panel 4 contains a depiction of what Woodhouse has labeled a beehive, but there are no bees painted on the rock. A small white antelope is also depicted.

Panel 7 is in a very sheltered corner and is the best-preserved panel. There is a large group scene of about 16 figures all in red. Eight of these figures are outlined in white. The 6 largest figures, average 300-310mm in height. At least 6 figures have 'headdresses' in black with brown/cream dots on them. Six of the figures hold sticks with inverted black triangles on the end that are flecked with dots. The individual fingers of the figures are drawn. None of the figures have penises and 1 figure is clearly female. In the centre of the panel is what appears to be a man/eland combination figure although this is unclear. Superimposed on the left hand part of this group are 10 white figures, most of which are running.

            Leeuwe Fontein I 111
            Site

Brief description of art: Site is situated at the Northern end of the farm dam, approximately 200m from the road. Site consists of 2 panels. The first panel is 600mm wide by 190mm high. The content of this panel includes 2 eland in red and white. Superimposed on these are 2eland in grey with red dots over them. Te red and white eland have four legs, as is normal, while the 2 grey eland only have 2 legs. The eland on the left faces a human figure to the left. This human figure has a limp penis holds a stick in one hand, and a grey fish with red dots on it in the other hand. There are 5 fish along the back of the eland. These fish are also painted in grey with red dots on top. Below the eland are another 2 fish. The eland on the right has its head raised and faces right. This eland is painted in grey and has red dots painted on top. Ten fish, in grey with red dots on top, are painted below its belly and dewlap. There are other bits of paint near these figures but these are indistinguishable. There are some figures approximately 5 meters to the right of these depictions.

The second panel is roughly 3 meters to the left of the first panel. It consists of 4 indistinguishable animals (possibly eland or cattle or buffalo), and 13 humans. Four human figures are in the double running posture.
