Brief description of site: The art is located in the far right (looking in) of the shelter. The major conservation threat here is water seepage which is causing white wash lines along the painted rock face in those areas where the few images remain visible. It is interesting to note that this situation was equally apparent in Mazel's 1980 photographs and the level of deterioration since this time, as a result of water seepage and damp conditions, is relatively minor in the case of the clearest images. There are 6 eland still fairly clearly visible, however the further 4 recorded in 1980 are either partial or barely visible at all. The paintings are well protected from fire and vegetation threats.
