            Phiri La Njuzi I
            Site
            Brief description of site: The site is on a large rock towards the top of the most northerly hill and has little protection. There were probably more paintings but now destroyed. Farther Billanger? has checked all the rocks on the three hills and has found no other paintings.
            Brief description of art: The paintings are on a small protected area facing south at the NE end of a large rock face. Most of the rock face is too weathered for paint.

            Brief description of site: The site is on a leaning boulder that provides some protection on its southern side but little shade or shelter. The rock is rough but has a good view over Diampwe river valley and is fairly easily accessible.
            Brief description of art: The images contain a few traces of red finger applied lines but very poorly preserved.

            Brief description of site: The site is on a very good surface. The overhang provides little protection. The site is in an area where there are not many caves and it could have been useful as a shelter from rain and sun. There is no outlook maybe 100m. The site is a very large and important site.
            Brief description of art: The images are very tall and ladders must have been used. The images are in a good condition. The art consists of two circles joined like an umbilical cord as well as some highly complex figures.
            Maye I
            Site
            Brief description of site: The site is on a long leaning rock-face near the top of Maye small hill. It provides very little shade or shelter with good view to east. The site is relatively easily accessible.
            Brief description of art: The art is all very faded and washed due to the lack of protection. Many more motifs may have existed but are now destroyed. Most of the motifs that remain are sets of parallel vertical lines as well as a larger meandering sausage shaped motif with a circle at its top. All the images were applied by finger in red.
            Kampenule I
            Site
            Brief description of site: The site is on a large leaning rock-face just below the top of this small hill. The overhang provides good shade and probably enough shelter to permit habitation. The floor area has quartz and pottery scatters and suggesting usage. It is fairly well secluded with good views to the north and east and relatively easy access.
            Brief description of art: The art consists of an unusual complex design composed of a vertical sausage shape divided with multiple horizontal bars and a circle at its middle. There are also 2 small meanders, a vertically stretched circle with single internal vertical division and a similar motif except bottom half only. As well as many vertical rows of small dots, a concentric half circle open at base and a circle with a central dot. On the right there are sets of parallel lines and vertical rows of dots applied very finely by a brush (the size makes them almost invisible).
            Chingondo I

            Brief description of site: The site is on a leaning boulder that forms the peak of Chingondo Hill. The rock surfaces in this northern part of the study area are few and poor and it seems the artists have been forced to use poorer surfaces. This site is rough and poorly protected but it has pleasant shaded seating point but no shelter and is very exposed. Good views into Diampwe river valley and relatively easy access.
            Brief description of art: The art contains various vertical and horizontal lines some of which join or overlap. There are also some larger filled circles of pigment. All the images were applied by finger in red and are rather washed
