Brief description of site: This site is made up of a very large granite boulder and is 6 m long, up to 3.5 m high with very little in the way of an overhang. The living areas seem to have been on the ENE and southern sides. The site faces ENE and is situated on the 600 m contour just after the first major bend in the Numas riverbed. Good general views.
Brief description of art: There are about 30 Bushman rock paintings at this site. The paintings are weathered and again there is no white paint visible; yet these are in better condition that Site 3 - Arch Shelter. The site is dominated by two large - 280 mm tall - red human figures painted partially on top of each other and striding along. One of these human figures holds a stick or an arrow. Lower down there is a much smaller red human figure holding a very large bag. There are also at least 6 red springbok. Under a painted red curved line there are 7 red human figures painted as if sitting inside a rock shelter and facing each other in two groups. On the S facet of the site there is considerably more weathering but at least 3 red human figures and 2 springbok are visible.
