Brief description of site: The site is on a large boulder on the east side of a small hill north of Dedza Mountain. At its centre is recess which the local village used to use the site as a 'bank' (hence the name, John = Johannesburg, the city of 'wealth'). Painted surface is to the right of the recess. The site has pleasantly shaded seating but no shelter and good views to the east. The site is fairly easily accessible.
Brief description of art: The art consists of 5 parallel vertical lines, applied by finger in red.
