Note

Background of the Recorder:Kurt Petz was born in Munich in 1945 where he studied Fine Arts, Art History and Philosophy. His work is multidisciplinary not in terms of finished pieces but also as creative impulse and starting point. He works with basic elements and materials to give them a strong conceptual dimension.

He was married to and worked with for many years with Verena Kraft, with whom they developed a rich collaborative experience under the sign kraftpetz.

Together they participated in exhibitions and festivals around the world such as in Zimbabwe, Bosnia, Cuba and in many venues in Europe. They developed a personal performance language that is strongly connected to the materiality of visual arts.
