A variety of animals and human figures. The four cloaked figures are part of the 'great procession' illustrated elsewhere. In the top left hand corner, the eland bull painted with a white outline is unusual for this geographical area.

There are three exceptionally tiny figures on the body of the shaded eland. The yellow and orange colours tend to mark the later painting styles.

Three large eland are lying on their backs and three others are depicted close by. One of them, on the right, is bleeding from the mouth and a hunter is kneeling on top of it, or above it. Five other hunters are moving in from both sides. They carry bows, quivers and flywhisks and one of them even carries a wand. There are paint smears above the dead eland. At the bottom left, four human figures in yellow perform a dance. They are superimposed by two small bucks.
              P76 pager F257.

Quivers are usually made of bark and are used to store arrows. The quiver, bow and other pieces of equipment were carried on a hunting bag, which is wider at one end than the other and which has a thong running its length so that it can be slung over a shoulder.

These are the only three paintings at the far left of RSA LER1 - a black human figure in a kaross and a bichrome antelope superimposed by a white human figure. Karosses.

All pigment has disappeared from this reclining hartebeest but its shape is still recognisable. It is situated slightly below the panel illustrated in Pager 72.

A group of human figures painted high up on the rock face in the centre part of the shelter. A few small ledges on the wall below gave a foothold for the painter.

Two running hartebeest and an eland are visible on the left while there are two human figures on the right.

In the top right hand corner is a man in a stooping posture. He might be a hunter reading the spoor.

A number rhebok painted most delicately together with a number of hunters. One of these clearly demonstrates the technique of holding two arrows in reserve while the first one is being discharged. A second hunter has already released his arrow and the string of the bow has swung to the front with the impetus of the shot. One rhebok is wounded and is bleeding from the mouth. Towards the bottom of the painting is a 'Winged Buck' or ales painted as seen from above. These winged creatures may represent spirits of dead Bushmen.
