Brief description of site: The shelter is about 150 m in length, 30 m high and 15 m deep. It faces towards the north. Most of the paintings are in the western end of the shelter.
Brief description of art: Although this is a very large shelter, most of the paintings are scattered across the walls of the higher western end of the shelter. Amongst many others, they include two small bags and bows painted in two small hollows; a very elaborately decorated human figure with streamers fly whisks and tusks; remnants of two trance buck and a therianthrope painted in white with tusks and a trunk.

Conservation action taken: Conservation
The site is in fairly good condition with no immediate or particular threats. The usual precautions should, nevertheless, be taken when visiting the site.
Recommendations
The site is of high research value and should be further studied. The eland and red line panel is of particular interest. This panel should be fully traced and studied. To prevent future conservation problems, it is recommended that the following measures be put in place:
Strangers should only visit the site with the permission of, and accompanied by, the farm owners.
Large groups of people should not be taken to the site; large groups are difficult to control and may inadvertently damage paintings.
Livestock should not be allowed into the shelter. They will damage the paintings.
Visitors and farm workers should be informed about the archaeological and religious importance of the site.
