      How to find the site: Park in the parking lot at the boom at the Cathedral Peak Hotel. Follow the path and signs from the car park to 'Mushroom Rock'. The goes up a very steep section and then levels out on to a flat grassy section on the hilltop. Upper Mushroom shelter is visible on the upper bend of the sandstone on the prominent point to the South of Mushroom Rock. Leave the path and walk up the slope to the shelter.
