Brief description of site: A small recessed shelter in boulder on west side of small hill. Pleasant shaded seating, could have made a small habitation site. Good views over Linthipe river valley to Chigwenembe, would have made a fine observation point. Easily accessible.
Brief description of art: The art consists of 11 schematized zoomorphic motifs some of whom have stick legs, most daubed in white, some outline filled with dots (many resemble nyau animal characters such as ngombe & chilembwe). There is 1 zoomorphic motif without legs in outline charcoal (nyau-kasiyamaliro). Also a single daubed white spread-eagled design decorated with black dots and a large star shape applied by finger in white. Under these are red motifs applied by finger including: many circles, a circle with internal vertical divisions, a half circle open at base with single internal vertical division, a set of parallel horizontal lines and a few curving lines.
