Brief description of site: A large boulder at the top of the hill with a flat top, cutting in deeply on most sides towards a narrow base. Under surfaces are small and ledged. Protected underside provides pleasant shaded seating but is not suited to habitation. Extensive view (perhaps 30km) over the steep edge of the hill looking east and south. Arduous but simple access.
Brief description of art: Many and important pictographs in separated groups on 4 different ledges. On the bottom ledge is a large bellied, stooping, filled animal depiction with stick-like legs. Species of animal is uncertain. Right of this are five people arm in arm. Some are clearly men but none have anything in the way of personal adornments. At end of line of people is a similar figure but higher up, appearing to be somersaulting, human in character but with an animal-like head. All are bushed and in similar pigment. Second ledge has two similar large bellied, filled animal depictions. Each has carefully drawn head which is unusual for Kasama animals. Despite this the exact species is unclear; one has a dewlap and so may be an eland. Unfortunately this panel is rather worn. It is clear that there are other designs around the two animals but they are hard to discern. Some look like sections of small animals. All are executed by brush in similar red pigment. On the third ledge is another filled animal depiction very similar to those on the second ledge. Within this depiction, the form of another smaller animal can be made out in a lighter red which must underlie it. This panel is also worn. To the right are a number of traces, two of which almost certainly were animals. The others are too unclear to allow useful speculation. All are executed by brush in
red. The final ledge contains 2 odd animal depictions with squat rounded bodies and the front section of two similar but partially destroyed animals. All 4 give the impression of being by the same hand. All are brushed and in red.
