Brief description of site: The site is reached along a narrow rock passage, near the top of a small hill. The painted frieze is a few meters higher up and visible at the end of the passage. To the left and right of the frieze are small shelters with low slanting ceilings. The images are only visible from the passage. The whole site is concealed and fairly inaccessible. Shaded and protected but no open floor area to allow habitation. Impressive views, looking across northern Sumina to Mwela.
Brief description of art: The art consists of a lion and a man with a spear and a bovid, in red all brushed. The depictions appear to be associated and suggestive of a single scene. All the images are partially filled with very fine artistry, animals naturalistic silhouette, male figure stretched vertically giving a stick-like impression. Above and below are massed areas of red dots, finger applied.
