How to find the site: From the Highmoor Nature reserve office, follow the road to the campsite and then the Jeep track which leads on from it. Stay on the upper track. When you reach a point where you are looking down to the left towards large exposed areas of rock and up the right to an eroded track. Turn sharp right and walk over the nek above the erosion. You will be now looking down into the next valley, and facing directly towards the shelter on the opposite side of the river. The shelter is visible as a large open shelter with not much overhang. The small 'inner' deep shelter with a large fallen boulder in its centre. Follow the long rocky spur in front of you down the river and approach the shelter from the right hand side.
