Brief description of site: The site faces NNW. The shelter is in a 250m sandstone band with many hollows. The painted section is 20m long, 4m deep and 4m high. The floor is fine sand and cattle dung with many fallen rocks and some bedrock. There are small shrubs and grass in front of the shelter, there is no screen as well as a steep slope to the river. There is some water drip in the summer. The painted surface is very badly weathered with extensive exfoliation. The shelter is used a lot by herdsmen and cattle. There are cattle rubbings on the painted surface.
Brief description of art: The site contains more than 147 paintings: 107 Humans- 32 male, 5 female, 70 indeterminate. 28 animals: 9 eland, 3 rhebuck, 2 hartebeest, 2 felines, 1 baboon/dog, 11 indeterminate. Equipment: 6 quivers and ball, 33 remains.

Brief description of site: The site is a large overhang in a krans with a small damp overhang in the centre. There are trees on the slope in front of the shelter but there is no screening for the site. The overhang is 50m long, 10m deep. The shelter is 13m long, 5m deep and 3m high with a strong water drip.
Cleopatra I

Brief description of site: The site is a South facing shallow overhang that is very weathered. There a dense shrubbery as well as rocks on the left hand side. There is also water drip-stains on the right of the painted surface.
Brief description of art: There are a total of 11 paintings of animal headed and hooved figures. From left to right the panel goes as follows. There is one large figure with a concave face, headdress and carrying a stick with hoof like feet. There is evidence of two or three very faded figures, one with an elaborate headdress. There are also seven figures clad in maroon and black, one of the figures has an eagle head, another has an antelope like head. The rest of the figures have baboon like heads. Where the painting is clear all the figures are hooved. The last figure is steatopygic, hooved and has an animal head. This figure like the others is carrying a stick and is also in maroon and black. Below this panel to the left are three faded indeterminate paintings. Above and below the right side of the panel are small groups of paint remains.

Brief description of site: The site is a 50m long open shelter with a depth of 7m in the middle of the shelter. The height of the shelter varies from 1.5m to 10m. The shelter faces North-East with a good outlook down the Mooi River. There is no natural screening, and a sharp slope immediately in front of the shelter. There is seepage present with lime encrustation and vegetation on the rock face. But the vegetation is not very extensive. The shelter has a hard rocky floor with no water deposit. There is water available on the plateau below and close to site.

Brief description of site: The site is a NNW facing shelter, it is 9m long, 3.5m deep and more than 5m high. The floor consists of some sand, fallen slabs as well as dry vegetation in the centre of the shelter. The paintings are in the centre at the base of the wall, there are some paintings on the right high up. There is some vandalism consisting of charcoaled African names, due to the narrowness and steepness of the valley.
Brief description of art: The paintings are very faded consisting of: 2 red-orange and white rhebuck. 1m to the right there is a red-orange human with arms extended (either carrying white sticks or with white lines superimposed). There is also white paint remains superimposed on human legs as well as faded indistinct orange and white bovids, white bovid torso. Below and to the left there is an orange and white eland. There is also a white outline of a kaross-clad human. A faded white human with a stick also appears at this site.
