Brief description of site: RSA-VAH2 is a very small 3 m long, 3 m high and less than 1.5 m deep circular shelter located along a discontinuous line of sandstone on the 1620 m contour immediately above and 70 m away from RSA- VAH1. There is a low stone wall in tatters in front of this site that faces out onto a small plain that drops off with a good view to the south and west, with the stone walls at the head of the kloof visible to the north-west. Vegetation around the shelter is medium. - dense.
There are metal and ceramic fragments on the surface suggesting occupation - along with the other small shelters along this low ridge line - in the past. Stock were probably kraaled on the small flat plain in front of these sites. A larger habitation site is located 30 seconds walk to the south-east.
Brief description of art: There is a single red Bushman rock painting of an elephant with clear ears and trunk. A few pigment patches hint at there being further paintings in the past.
